He goes HARD!!

What happens when you're so dedicated to your craft & pleasing your fans? What happens when you "skip" across stage with a torn ACL?
This:

This is an example of Drake's hard work and dedication.... GET WELL SOON... PAUSE!

THE WARNING....

ooooh, Mr. Cannon might wanna sit down after this one. Just face the facts... He had your wife WAAAY before you were in the picture... SO WHAT?!

VROOOOM!!

I've been slippin' on my dude Lambo Moss lately.... No matter what... you gotta give him his props... rap game has been stepped ALL THE WAY UP! whether he is able to make the transition from teeny bopper fans to the "more mature" crowd has yet to be decided... regardless I rocks with the dude... PAUSE.

What's the BLIZZ?!

so, it's the last day of the month & that means that i'm running like a chicken with my head cut off at work (my REAL job... not the blog. lol) but i ran across this joint today... if you like the sub-genre of rap that is kid cudi, tabi bonney, wale & the list goes on... you'll dig this kid blizz mcfly... check him out..

Can't go Wrong....

just a quickie: you can't go wrong with Wayne....

BACK (pack) to school time...

Even though I don't have to do back to school shopping anymore... although sometimes I just wanna say "eff the REAL world" & go back to school, I kinda wish I could go register for a few classes.... JUST to cop these new Nike SB PacMan editions with the matching back pack... *sigh*.... I may just get it anyway (wait, that whole backpack thing went out in like '05) Sorry....

NOT again....

OK, so I GUESS Drake listened to the fans roar off about how HORRIBLE the "Best I Ever Had" video was... well, he dropped a "Director's Cut".... here it is....

Drake - Best I Ever Had - Director's Cut from kwest on Vimeo.

....still the same ol' HORRIBLE cocept to a GREAT song... let's go back to the drawing board Drizzy... Leave 'Ye at home this time... I think he slicked hated on you with this one... that's your boy I know... but you're his competition.

GET'CHA SUM!!

I'm glad that Big Sean FINALLY dropped a video for "Get'cha Sum". I can honestly say that I've NEVER seen a video that fits someone's personality as well as this video fits him... this is a good look, homie.

I dig...

I was once called "gifted"... umm... I guess I have a few "gifts". I THINK I've been called talented a few times... not sure. Well, I like the way I feel when I get compliments... so, I also like giving them. I've had the pleasure of meeting, well, not really meeting (we're actually just friends on facebook & followers of each other's blogs) one of the most talented writers/photographers I've seen. Her name is Sydni Michael (dope name, huh?). Well, I frequently make my way over to her blog Sydni Michael and admire her work... SHE'S ILL!! Her photography kinda takes me to this weird place... it almost makes me wanna get.... HIGH! check it out:

you be the judge....

not much to say about it.... think what you wanna think about it... i think it sincere... it'll all be over in a few months...

i HAD to do it....

first things first... i rocks with Rick Ross (even though he never shouts out his home state of Mississippi). But, i absolutely HAD to post this joint... i just about coughed up a lung laughing... Ricky Ross the C.O. (we've all got to make a living... ya know)... my job as a mortgage rep may not exactly be "hood", "street" or "gangsta", but it pays the bills... ya dig?!

OOOOOOOH WEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

This is by far one of the DUMBEST shoes I have EVER seen (& I mean "dumb" in every GOOD sense of the word). Kris Van Assche ALWAYS delivers... I do mean ALWAYS... why would we expect something different this time??

New Music...

I'm only posting this one because Soulja Boy FINALLY recognizes his MISSISSIPPI roots in this one... & I'll be in Batesville tomorrow (where this video was shot)

We Knew It Would Happen...

Paying tribute to the King of Pop, premier vinyl specialists Hot Toys work up a new set of Michael Jackson figures, showcasing the masterful work exhibited on his famous Thriller music video. The figures will come in a 1/6 scale, featuring all the intricate details one would come to expect from a Hot Toys release. A launch is set for December 2009 with a suggestted retail price tag of ¥24,000 (Approx. $255 USD).

ALMOST FAMOUS....????

I honestly only posted this because Drake looks HALFWAY famous in this video....

Y'all know I rocks with Drizzy, but if you spotted this dude in Northpark, you'd think he was an English major at Tougaloo......

se what I mean??
Big shout out to Drizzy and the ENTIRE octobersveryown fam!!

WALK BACKWARDS

She hates to see me leave...
...But, LOVES to watch me walk away!

Lust For Life/Houstantlantavega Fan Video...

Fresh off the press from OVO comes a fan video that I think (& hate to admit) is WAY better than Drake's first visual effort (Best I Ever Had)... The concept of the Houstatlantavegas part actually fits with the video... although a bit dramatic...

Drake - Lust For Life x HoustonAtlantaVegas [mash-up video] from 5846 Productions on Vimeo.

Sponsorship....

I'm convinced that Jordan will NEVER stop making shoes... first he mixed J's with other J's, then he mixed J's with Forces... now he's mixing J's with... get this... NIKE boots... & it's definitely a GOOD look....

Thank Him Later...

I'm guessing that our favorite non-American rapper was feeling a bit generous yesterday when he posted 3 new joints from the upcoming mixtape "Heartbreak Drake pt. 2" and one from his upcoming album "Thank Me Later". I won't complain... I've been rockin with Drizzy since day ONE!
