Did you see how many Republicans voted for President Obama's stimulus package in the House yesterday?

None. Seriously, not a single one.(1)

Americans voted overwhelmingly for change in November. We voted for an end to the partisan bickering and political games that are destroying our politics. And President Obama bent over backwards to get House Republicans to craft a bipartisan bill, to no avail.

As the bill moves to the Senate, we need bipartisan support, or the stimulus won't pass. Senate Republicans need to know they have a clear choice: support a stimulus package that will put millions of Americans back to work, or continue to play the games that got us into this mess.

President Obama spent hours meeting with Republican leaders personally. He made painful compromises to win them over.(2)

But Republicans refused to play ball. They're insisting on a plan that doesn't invest a cent in green jobs or health care or education. They just want more tax cuts for the rich and for corporations, even though that's part of what got us into this mess.(3)

GOP leaders will get their way—unless we can convince a few Republican senators who are on the fence.

His most recent? being named one of Gentlemen Quaterly's (GQ magazine) top 6 American designers for his newly released clothing line Benjamin Bixley. WOOOOOOOW!! It was only evident that he would eventually dap into the fashion world as a designer... the only question was "when?". In Feb 2008 he released a collection of about 70 pieces which were, at first, only just for HIM. His clothes are... well.... EXACTLY what you'd expect for 1/2 of OutKast, which happens to be my favorite GROUP of all times... with MJG & 8ball running a close second (just figured I'd throw that in). Bixby's first collection takes it's cue from the American campuses and sports fields of the 1930's. Tweed jackets, blazers and waistcoats combine with bomber jackets, sweats and plus-fours to produce the sort of typically eclectic mix that Benjamin might sport himself. Joining Benjamin Bixby are Save Khaki, Robert Geller, Yigal Azrouel, Shipley & Halmos, and Rogues Gallery. What? no Michael Kors?

Compliments.... Webster's (who is he?) defines compliments as "an experssion of praise". So, is it safe to say that if someone compliments you that they praise you? Ok, we won't go there. I've recieved a few praises about "The ROYAL word" the past few days. But they actually kind of stumbled me... Here's the story; there's this chick (....I mean young lady) on my friends list on face book named Sydni Michael (I think that's the DOPEST name EVER). I really only added her because she has one of the sickest (synonomous for best) tattoos I've ever seen... I'm addicted to ink. I have 16 tattoos myself. Anyway Sydni blogs... No I mean she really blogs... & holds NOTHING back! I love this girl... I mean... I love reading her.... Her blog that is. I sent her a compliment about her blog & she responded that it was a compliment to be complimented by ME! Huh?! Me?! Yep me!! I feel like a freggin celebrity!!! 16 random facts about me...

..this should be interesting!

1.at a whopping 5'7, I'm the tallest person in my immediate family. My mother is 4'11 pops is 5'6 my brother Kevin in 5'3...

2.I once caught a fish & tried to keep it as a pet... I failed to realize that I had to feed it & it died in a bucket on the front porch.

3.I got 4 tickets at one time 2 days after getting my driver's license (speeding, improper equipment, driving past 10... I was 15 & only had a hardship license, & no proof on insurance) the no insurance & improper equipment tickets were yanked.

4.I used to be terrified of people doing the Robot. My brother used to do it & it made me cry.

5.I've broken countless bones: both legs, both arms, both ankles.... too many to count.

6.to this day, my parents don't know that I was kicked off the baseball team in college for skipping 5 AM practice. I told them the coach cut me because he said I wasn't good enough... smh

7.I used to eat ketchup & lettuce sandwhiches... That's it. Just bread, lettuce & ketchup.

8.I got bit by a duck in 2nd grade at the zoo.

9.I spent about an hour in jail back in '02 (I'm officially gangsta!!!)

10.I cried like a baby when my dog died in 10th grade... I had her since 1st grade.

11.I idolized Deion Sanders growing up. I played baseball & football like him, had EVERY pair & EVERY color of Nike Diamond Turf! Wore Nike socks, gloves & wristbands like him. I even had a "Primetime" Du-Rag that I wore under my football helmet. & yes, I'll admit that I bought his album. I think he only sold like 12 copies.

12.I have counting OCD. That just means that I count EVERYTHING from the sides on a stop sign to the lines on a sheet of paper. I seriously can't help it... I should be good at math... But I'm not!

13.i also have Bruxism which means I grind my teeth in my sleep. It's physically impossible to grind your teeth with that much force while conscious. There have been people that chipped their teeth in their sleep & choked to death. I'm supposed to wear this mouthpiece when I sleep but I don't.

14.I once aspired to be a rapper. I made a song called "ya dig" waay before Juvenile.

15.I once fell in a sess pool... no explanation needed

16.I HAVE GOOD CREDIT!!! just thought I would throw that in!!
