Pay Homage...

a few days ago i made a comment about mingling with celebs... then i retracted and said that i mingle with future celebs. well, yesterday while cooling at an undisclosed location with my boy, i hear a voice yell out "man, i've been trying to call your phone all day! i got lost on the way over here and needed directions" when i look left, it's none other than.... u ready?.... Bushwick Bill! yeah, Bushwick Bill from the Geto Boyz! This dude is a rap LEGEND! without the Geto Boyz, there would be no, Jeezy or T.I.! these dudes pretty much paved the way for EVERY rapper in the south. that's why they are so respected in the game. well, honestly i was too shame to ask for a picture (for proof to the non-believers) but, i wasn't ashamed to ask for an interview (mainly because www.TheRoyalWord.com was on the computer screen when he walked in the room and he asked "what's that"). he politely agreed and jokingly said "for a small fee". i think he was kinda thrilled when my phone rang and the first three seconds of my ringtone were "this year haloween fell on a weekend, me and geto boyz when trick or treatin" but after about a fifth of cognac and 3 hours of kicking it with one of the REALEST dudes i've ever met, he threw a mini concert after we pulled up a few old videos on YouTube.... so, The Royal Word pays homage to Bushwick Bill.... interview coming soon!
